The Chicago State University College of Pharmacy will utilize the PharmCAS application service. We have two types of admission, the Early Decision Program and Regular Admission Application.
Pharmacy Admission Early Decision Program
The College of Pharmacy at Chicago State University (CSU-COP) participates in the PharmCAS Early Decision Program (EDP). The PharmCAS Early Decision Program is a binding option that is available to applicants who see one particular Pharm. D. program (In this case CSU-COP) as a first choice; and will enroll if accepted. Applicants for the EDP may only apply to one participating school during the early decision time period. The deadline for applications for the Early Decision Program is September 6, 2016. If you wish to participate in the EDP, your completed application, transcripts and submission fee must be received at PharmCAS by the deadline or your status will be changed automatically from early decision to regular status.
Select interviews for the Early Decision Program will be conducted during September and Early October 2016. Early Decision Program offers will be made by October 21, 2016. You may be offered early admission, denied admission, or deferred to regular applicant status. If offered conditional admission, you are obligated to accept the offer and you will not be permitted to apply to other PharmCAS institutions for the Fall 2017 admission cycle. If offered conditional admission, all rules regarding conditional admission remain (e.g. successful completion of pre-pharmacy courses, etc.)
