Dr. Rose Gong, Treasurer ===================================== MPES Graduate Student Competition Awards: The Society offers two awards annually to doctoral students in philosophy of education/educational foundations who present papers at the annual MPES conference. They are:
If there are more than two graduate students presenting papers in any one year, MPES Program Committee recommends two graduate student candidates for the awards from among those presenting papers.
Hotel Accommodations: Hilton Hotel, 9333 South Cicero Avenue (corner of 94th Avenue and Cicero, about 8 to 10 minutes driving distance from Chicago State University), Oak Lawn, Illinois. The Hilton has free bus shuttle from Midway Airport. How to get to Hilton from CSU: Take 95th Street west to Hilton Hotel, on the north (right hand) side of 95th street. To return to CSU from Hilton, simply reverse the process. Both the Hilton and CSU are located on or near the same street (=95th street). Cost of room is 115.00 per night (discounted), plus tax.
