Treasurer's Report for Midwest Philosophy of Education Society (MPES)

MPES opened a checking account (Account #128366) with Credit Union 1 at Charleston, Illinois in the amount of $1071.18. Margie Oliker made two donations to MPES: 1) a check in the amount of $1765.00 for sponsoring the conference luncheon on November 14, 2003; and 2) a check in the amount of $1100.00 as a donation to MPES on November 14, 2003. The 2003 conference collected $1950.69 in checks and cash for registration. Registration fee was collected by Mary Swieton, Rose Gong and Amenda Crowford on Friday, November 14, 2003 and by Amenda Crowford and Mary Swieton on Saturday, November 15, 2003. Cash was drawn from the registration fund on the conference dates to cover conference needs such as films, breakfast and Saturday lunches. (Total deposits: $5886.87.)
