Interdiction Campaign No. 2

September-October 1950

Interdiction Campaign No. 2 was a result of the American fears of a massive Chinese or Russian intervention during the Inchon landings in September 1950.  All logistical paths from the Chinese border to Inchon were targeted to hinder any enemy forces headed to oppose the landings.  The B-29’s main priority was to cut connexions to the front, but also performed other jobs.
