HPOG-STEP UP

The Partnership to STEP UP in Health Careers (STEP UP) is an exciting career laddering program that provides educational training for Temporary Assistance for Needy Family (TANF) recipients and low income eligible individuals in high demand healthcare fields. The College of Education and Department of Occupational Therapy at Chicago State University (CSU) were awarded a five-year grant of $1.2 million from the U.S.  Department of Education Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Service (OSERS) to implement the Promoting Effective Educational Relationships in Schools (PEERS) project.
