Andrea Perez, Student Assistant

Hi, my name is Andrea Perez. I was raised on the south side of Chicago. I am a sophomore majoring in nursing and aspiring to specialize in neonatal nursing. I like to travel and would love to do more of it. Most recently, I went to Panama and loved learning about their culture. A goal that I have post-graduation is to travel with an organization to other countries that need better medical assistance. I am part of the Organization of Latin American Students (OLAS)--a student organization that aims to promote Latino cultural awareness throughout the community and increase the Latino population on campus. I am a student worker at the Latino Resource Center. If you have any questions stop by the LRC, I am more than happy to give you answers.

Beatriz Palmieri de Souza, Student Assistant

Hi Everyone! My name is Beatriz Palmieri, and I am a student from Brazil. I study Business/Marketing and play volleyball for CSU. This is my senior year and I have been working at the Latino Resource Center for over a year. I feel connected to the center because we are a big family that supports each other, and it is where we are always meeting and connecting with new people. The LRC is such a great place to work. As a work-study student, I understand other students' needs and their desire to make new friends, study in a pleasant environment, obtain resources and opportunities, and experience different areas on campus. As such, my goal is to make students feel comfortable at the center and to create a home away from home.
