PURPOSE OF THE COMMITTEE: The University Curriculum Coordinating Committee shall:
- Make recommendations to the Senate and other appropriate bodies where required regarding
the addition or deletion of academic program requirements for all academic majors,
minors, options, or certificate programs offered by the University,
- Serve to review any existing and approved degree programs that may choose to offer
additional off-campus, hybrid, or online degree programs where greater than 50% of
the coursework is completed off campus,
- Review the minutes of the College Curriculum Committees,
- Monitor new course proposals with particular notice of possible conflicts among the
Colleges and propose solutions to resolve such conflicts to the Provost,
- Review and approve any policy or procedural changes recommended by the General Education
Committee or General Education Assessment Committee.
